                            The Sanborn Sanctuary

It’s a beautiful sunny day and as I pull into my driveway with the windows rolled down, I hear the quack of the ducks, the howl of the hounds, the "Maaaaaaaaaa" of my precious goats, the whinnies of the horses in their pasture, and yes, even the crow of the darn rooster, I think to myself, "How much better can this get?" Well it does; when I wake in the morning and there’s eight cats screaming for their breakfast, wrapping themselves around my ankles, Joe the cockatiel singing up stairs in Maddie’s room, the dogs wagging their tails and whining for their butt scratch and their morning kibble, this all makes my heart fill with pride, love and happiness. We now have 68 animals on the sanctuary.  I do believe we will not be satisfied until we reach 100 :). The beauty of this small farm and all it has to offer - a sanctuary to all who visit. And we are happy to share it with you.
